|Outline||Mudflows as a result of heavy rains and strong winds on 9 May 2016 affected at least 11 districts of Sughd Province in north-western Tajikistan. Three people were killed, and approximately 170 houses were severely damaged, along with public infrastructure and arable land.|

At least four people have been killed as a result of floods or mudflow in Panjekent and Aini districts. An estimated 17,800 people have been directly affected by floods or mudflows in several districts.
