2026/01/24 Indonesia : Landslide The death toll from a landslide that hit Indonesia's West Java province at the weekend rose to 17 on Monday, 26 January 2026, the country's disaster mitigation agency said, with dozens still missing. As of 29 January 2026, the National Disasters Management Institute (INGD) reports, 85 fatalities, nearly 112,000 evacuated people, and 800,000 affected people. 2025/12/31 Syrian Arab Republic : Cold Wave Two infants died due to extreme cold in two IDP camps in Harim, northern Idleb countryside, following a snowstorm that hit northern Syria on 31 December 2025, affecting 90 IDP sites across Aleppo, Idleb and Al-Hasakeh governorates, impacting around 158,000 displaced people. 2025/12/15 Iran (Islamic Republic of) : Flash Flood Since 15 December 2025, heavy rains, flash floods, and river overflow killed eight people in southern provinces of Fars, Hormozgan and Khuzestan Provinces of Iran.
