|Outline||On 11 November 2012, an earthquake registering 6.8 on the Richter scale was recorded 50 kilometers north of Shwebo Township in Sagaing Region, 115 kilometers north of Mandalay.|

The Government indicates at least 16 people were killed and 52 other injured in the earthquake. The Government reports that over 400 houses, 65 schools and 100 religious buildings were damaged.
At least 26 people were killed while 12 others are missing and about 230 were injured, Myanmar Red Cross Society said.
A powerful earthquake which hit Myanmar on 11 November killed at least 13 people, injured dozens and sparked panic in the major central city of Mandalay.
Government reports indicate at least 7 causalities and dozens injured and four people missing.
