Outline The flood struck the northern province of Lampang on Friday night (13 August 2010) with the water level as high as one meter. Over 1,200 households and 36 villages in 7 districts have been affected.

Royal Thai Government 2010/08/21
The DDPM reports that a total of 13,085 households in 25 districts of 9 provinces were hit by floods last week. The stricken provinces include Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Phrae, Nan, Rayong, Trat, and Lamphun.

According to DDPM, continuous rainfalls during 1-17 August had left 248 villages in 24 districts of 9 provinces throughout the Kingdom inundated. Over 44,000 local residents and 9,000 households have been affected.
