Outline Typhoon DOKSURI (named "Egay" in the Philippines) has made landfall twice in the northern tip of the country, in Fuga Island and Dalapuri Island of Cagayan Province at around 03:00 and 11:00 (UTC+8) on 26 July 2023, respectively. Heavy rainfall already caused by the passage of DOKSURI resulted in casualties across northern and central Philippines. Heavy flooding and landslides are also reported to have affected the people. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reports 180,500 affected people across 21 provinces.
