The deadliest wildfire in California history that destroyed the mountain town of Paradise and killed at least 85 people was 100 percent contained on 25 November 2018. The Camp Fire that started on Nov. 8 destroyed nearly 14,000 homes and burned nearly 154,000 acres (62,000 hectares)
As of 18 November, wildfires killed 76 people, and 1,276 people were reported missing.
More than 100,000 acres of land were burned due to the wildfire at the edge of Plumas National Forest.
