Since 29 May 2014, 22,545 persons have been evacuated due to severe floods occurring in 25 municipalities within the Republics of Khakassia, Altai, Tuva and the Altai Territory in Siberia as well as in the Republic of Adygeya in Northern Caucasus of the Russian Federation.
Nearly 4,000 homes have been flooded by rivers swollen by heavy rains, and around 7,600 people have been displaced.
