Outline Cold lava flash floods hit the West Sumatra region on the evening of Saturday, 11 May 2024. This incident was triggered by high intensity rain in the upstream area of Mount Marapi. Four districts were quite badly affected by this incident, including Agam District, Tanah Datar District, Padang Panjang District and Padang Pariaman District. As of Sunday, 12 May 2024 at 21.00 WIB, the total number of victims who died as a result of this disaster was 37 people.
