Since the end of June, floods - triggered by heavy rains, Typhoon Nepartak and other severe weather – have affected 243 million people across 20 provinces. As of 28 July, 417 flood-related deaths had been recorded, with 162 people still missing.
Typhoon Nepartak has left 83 people dead and 19 missing in Fuzhou, capital of east China\'s Fujian Province as of Sunday noon, provincial authorities said.
Ten people were dead and 11 people were missing due to the typhoon Nepartak.
As of 10 July 2016, authorities reported six people had been killed and eight people were missing. A total of 449,000 people were affected by the typhoon including some 203,000 people in 10 cities who were temporarily evacuated.
