As of 15 November, local media reported that the earthquake that hit close to the border between Iran and Iraq on 12 November has so far claimed at least 530 lives (most of them in Kermanshah, Iran) and 7,370 wounded people (of which at least 550 in Iraq). Houses and historical buildings have been damaged across eight cities, and 526 villages are severely affected.
According to Iran Red Crescent at least 328 people have been killed and 3,950 injured.
At least 129 people died in western Iran\'s Kermanshah province, officials told state media.
