Heavy rainfall since 13 December 2016 has caused severe flooding in Central and South-Central Vietnam and parts of the Central Highlands. 15 people are known to have died and four people are missing. Almost 112,000 houses have been damaged.
Consecutive days of heavy rains caused flooding in the central provinces from Quang Ngai to Ninh Thuan. 19 people have died and two more missing. Around 4,000 people are affected.
