According to the ADINet, as of 4 May, 12 people were injured, of whom 5 in Thai Nguyen and 7 in Tuyen Quang, while a total of 8,308 people have been affected. Additionally, 2,077 houses and 16 schools were damaged, and 2,300 hectares of crops were damaged.

ADINet reports, as of 24 April, one fatality in the Quang Ninh province due to lightning. The same source also reports a total of 768 affected people, one destroyed house, 191 damaged houses and seven damaged schools across Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa provinces. In addition, following the huge landslide that occurred in the Phu Ha area (Phu Tho province) on 21 April, ADINet reports one injured person and 11 evacuated families.
