Outline Due to the effect of Typhoon Nakri (No. 12 in Japan) that traveled north from the Yellow Sea has brought heavy rain to Japan, mainly in the Shikoku area since 1 August 2014. On 3 August 2014, evacuation orders were issued to a total of 2,800 people in Kochi and Tokushima prefectures, while the city of Kochi issued an evacuation advisory to a total of 547,500 residents, on 3 August 2014.
