As of 2 August, the Relief and Resettlement Department (RRD) report 38,316 people displaced by monsoon floods in Kayin, Mon, Tanintharyi and Rakhine States and the Ayeyawadi Region.

On 1 August, the Relief and Resettlement Department (RRD) reported that 33,409 people have been displaced to 79 relocation sites in Kayin State. In Mon State there are 2,677 people relocated to 20 sites.
