Duration2006/07/06 Storms and torrential rain have battered eastern China, leaving 13 million people affected by flooding and storm damage, state media said.
At least 30 people have died as a result of the severe weather in the two provinces of Jiangsu and Anhui, and some 40,000 people have been evacuated.
