Duration2005/01/10 The death toll from a mudslide in the oceanside California town of La Conchita rose to 10 on Wednesday. Roughly a dozen people remain missing and are presumed trapped in the 30-foot-deep mound of earth that swallowed some 15 homes in this hamlet about 80 miles north of Los Angeles on Monday.
