France:Flood:2002/09/10
Duration 2002/09/10 At least 19 people have been killed in floods which have swept through parts of southern France. Another 12 are missing. The floods were triggered by torrential rain which swept across the Gard, Herault and Vaucluse departments.
As the flood waters rose, power supplies were cut to tens of thousands of homes. At least 1,000 people were evacuated, and several bridges were swept away.Country or District France Name Flood
