DR Congo:Flash Flood:2023/05/04

Duration2023/05/04 Torrential rain in South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo caused a river to overflow on 4 May 2023 and led to significant damage and loss of life in the villages of Bushushu and Nyamukubi, the provincial government said in a statement. At least 176 people have been killed in flash floods in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo as of 5 May 2023, a regional official says.
