Japan:Heavy Snowfall:2022/12/18
Duration 2022/12/18 From 18-19 December 2022, strong cold air moved into Japan, creating a strong winter pressure pattern around Japan. On the Sea of Japan side of northern to western Japan, heavy snowfall occurred mainly in Fukushima, Yamagata, and Niigata prefectures, resulting in deaths and injuries.
