According to the Government and UN Resident Coordinator, the floods in northeastern districts continue to affect more people with 7.2 million people impacted across 9 districts in the region. More than 481,000 people are displaced and took shelter in 1,605 flood shelters. Media reports suggest that at least 82 people and 4,000 livestock died.

Moreover, about 72,300 people of 10 unions have been affected by the flash flood in Kanaighat Upazila of Sylhet district with 329 houses damaged (268 partial and 61 fully damaged).
