New Zealand:Flood:2021/05/29

Duration2021/05/29 Heavy rain has been affecting several Districts of the Canterbury Region, New Zealand since 29 May 2021 causing floods and rivers overflow, and resulting in evacuations and damage. According to media reports, hundreds of people living in at least 250 houses have been evacuated, several roads have been flooded, schools, offices and highways have been closed. A state of emergency was declared for the entire Region.
