Duration2020/09/06 A powerful typhoon Haishen (Typhoon No. 10), possibly the strongest in decades, is battering the southern main island of Kyushu, Japan on 6 September 2020. Typhoon Haishen has a central atmospheric pressure of 945 hectopascals. More than 1.8 million people in seven prefectures in southwestern Japan have been ordered to evacuate immediately as Typhoon Haishen threatens to hit the region.
