    Flooding affected North Chungcheong and Gyeonggi Province on 2 August. Since then officials reported a total of 13 dead and 13 missing, with more than 1,000 people evacuated and over 5,000 hectares of farm land inundated. Six people died in a landslide in Gyeonggi Province on 3 August.
