Duration2019/09/01 The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said Hurricane Dorian made landfall on Elbow Cay in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas as a Category 5 storm with maximum sustained winds of 185 miles per hour (295 kph).
