    Typhoon Haima has caused estimated direct economic losses of 4.76 billion yuan (702.65 million U.S. dollars) in the three provinces of Jiangsu, Fujian, and Guangdong, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced 25 October 2016. About 114,000 residents had been relocated, 239,500 hectares of crops and 3,200 houses damaged, and another 600 houses destroyed by the typhoon, according to the statement.
