Japan:Typhoon:2009/08/09-10
Duration 2009/08/09-10 On 9-11 August 2009, Typhoon No.9 (ETAU) which has been approaching to Japan, caused continuous heavy rain in wide areas of Japan including Chugoku and Shikoku regions. Due to floods and landslide triggered by the torrential rain, 20 people were killed, 8 were missing, and 5,214 houses were inundated (according to data as of 20:00 of 13 August).
