2024/03/07 Indonesia Flood Ten residents were found dead as a result of the flood and landslide disaster in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province, Wednesday, 9 March 2024. A total of 8 people were declared missing in Koto XI Tarusan District, and 2 others were in Sutera District and Lengayang District. Meanwhile, 46,000 people had to evacuate due to the floods and landslides. 2024/03/01 Afghanistan Cold Wave Heavy snowfall, rainfall and low temperatures has affected most of Afghanistan resulting in casualties and widespread disruption to services, blocked roads and significant loss of livestock of livestock between 26 February to 1 March 2024. The Thoughts of ADRC

ADRC was founded in 1998 in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The mission is to enhance disaster resilience of its member countries, to create safe communities where people can live with peace of mind, and to create a society that enables sustainable development.
For the purpose, the ADRC is promoting the establishment of multilateral networks through personnel exchanges and a variety of other programs for disaster risk reduction in Asia.
