Public Forum "Building Resilience at the Local Level" was successfully concluded with the participation of 80 DRR practitioners as one of the public events in the WCDRR held in Sendai, Japan. Good practices of Community-based DRR activities in Indonesia, Philippines, and Japan, featuring importance of involvement of multi-stakeholders including the good linkage between national and local governments were showcased. How the experiences can be integrated into DM activities in developing countries was discussed with focusing on the sustainability of the CBDRM activities.
