| Training Program Description | Due to delay in the establishment of AusAID funded 5 Year National Disaster Management Project, there has been no program planned for this year 2000. However, the attached is a tentative program pending availability of funds |
| Program Type | The Introduction to Disaster Management Course (IDM) is a basic and pre-requisite of all disaster and emergency courses offered in Disaster Management. The course sets basis for any sector to formulate plans and policies relating to Disaster Management. |
| Program Audience | Planners, Policy Makers, and Middle Management within the disaster stakeholders both at national and provincial levels. |

| Organization Type | The organisation and the coordination of the series of IDM courses are done by Public sector through PNGNDMO (Mr. Kaigabu Kamnanaya) |

| Description | The organisation is trying to seek financial assistance through the National Disaster Committee and from AusAID. The training schedule will not be implemented if no funds is given to NDMO. However, selected participants will be sponsored. |
