Diagnostics of Buildings and Structures in order to estimate their Earthquake Resistance and Stability

The student will gain knowledge and practical experience in:
- Basic information on earthquake resistance and stability of buildings and structures ;
- Procedures for estimating the stability and resistance of buildings and structures to earthquake ground shaking and ground failure ;
- Computations of earthquake resistance and stability of buildings and structures;
- Principles of mobile diagnostic complex operation and design for estimating the earthquake resistance and stability of buildings and structures;
- Measurements of earthquake resistance and stability of buildings and structures;
- Processing of measurements results;
- Analysis of the degree of damage for buildings and structures;
- City territory zonation according to earthquake resistance rate of buildings and structures, according to the level of engineering and individual risks.
After completing the training course students gain knowledge and experience in:
- Procedures for estimation of real earthquake resistance of buildings and structures ;
- Practical experience of work with a diagnostic complex;
- Interpretation of measurement results in order to estimate real earthquake resistance and stability of buildings and structures.
