The student will gain knowledge and practical experience in:
- Principles of high precision GTS receivers application for emergency monitoring;
- Work with GPS receivers;
- Processing of observation data;
- Leveling of networks;
- Choice of optimal observation regime;
- GPS measurement application in seismic hazard monitoring;
- GPS measurement application in technological hazard monitoring;
- GPS measurement application in monitoring of hydropower station structures;
- GPS measurement application in monitoring of roads, bridges, highways (viaducts), tunnels and others.
After completing the training course students gain knowledge and experience in:
- Work with GPS receivers;
- Planning the optimal regime of observations and processing the measurements results ;
- Interpretation of, observation data to deal with a range of problems.
