Participants to this course are introduced to the principles, functions and procedures necessary to implement and manage civil defence operations. Civil defence activities, as an element of Australia's comprehensive all-hazards approach to emergency management,may be necessary should Australia ever become involved in a conflict on the mainland and territories.
