The Summit County Emergency Management Agency is proud to present the Summit County Disaster Operations Training. Disaster Operations Training is designed to promote the study of the Summit County Emergency Operations Plan. The Summit County Emergency Operations Plan is a systematic approach to handling disaster. The Plan identifies responsibilities, describes operational procedures and details working relationships between all agencies and political subdivisions within Summit County. The Disaster Operations Training consists of 16 booklets beginning with The Basic Plan. At the completion of each booklet, a final test will be sent to the Summit County Emergency Management Agency for a Certificate of Completion. There are four levels of certification that can be achieved. That is essential level, intermediate level, emergency operations level and advanced level.
