Earthquake Disaster & Disaster Mitigation for Developing Countries operated by China Seismological Bureau The objectives of the training course are as follows: 1) To introduce the latest developments of China as well as other countries in earthquake science and technology; especially in the field of earthquake monitoring & prediction, and earthquake disaster mitigation and; 2) To promote international exchange and cooperation with developing countries in earthquake studies. 3) It is specially designed for young scientists in the countries (especially developing countries) suffering or potentially suffering from seismic hazard.
