ATC 20-1:Post Earthquake Safety Evaluation of Buildings

The ATC 20-1 course is designed to teach participants how to use the "Field Manual: Post Earthquake Safety Evaluation of Buildings". The manual lists its target audience as: volunteer structural engineers, building inspectors, governmental structural engineers and those persons who would be required to make on-the-spot evaluations and decisions regarding continued use and occupancy of damaged buildings. Session will provide participants the knowledge and skills to conduct rapid evaluations based upon safety and engineering issues - that is to triage a potentially damaged building after an earthquake
