This two day Emergency Operations Planning Course provides basic information with hands on application for an emergency management planning process. The course includes: an overview of evolution and development of emergency management planning; applicable federal, state, and local laws as wells as applicable regulations (I.e. Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA)); the “Problem, Need, Task, Resource” process; use of Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs); and support techniques for EOPs. This course is part of the Professional Development Series (PDS).
