EMI is encouraging communities to train CERT's so that they can perform essential lifesaving functions while waiting for professional responders following a disaster.This TTT will prepare instructors to train other instructors in their communities to deliver CERT Training. This TTT also in intended to familiarize emergency program managers with course content and prepare them to market, promote, and administer this self-help emergency management program in their jurisdictions.
