This is one of the most beneficial courses available for emergency managers and those responsible for emergency plans. It offers concepts for developing and maintaining comprehensive disaster response plans. We teach the principles of the Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS), with an emphasis on the Incident Command System (ICS) as the jurisdictions emergency management structure and organization. We also discuss current State OES Planning Guidance and how local jurisdictions will receive and manage support from State, Federal and other support agencies.
