Earthquake: An Introduction to Emergency Management in Califonia

You will have the opportunity to plan for, and participate in a realistic earthquake simulation as an emergency team official, reinforced by classroom instruction during the week. You will benefit the most from this program by enrolling as a team from your jurisdiction, comprised of the Chief Executive Officer, department heads, operations officers and emergency planners. We stress the importance of a comprehensive set of strategies with options to meet the requirements of managing the impact of disasters before they happen to strengthen preparations for prompt, effective restoration.
