The purpose of this course is to impart to the Emergency Telecommunications Manager an understanding of the planning and operational factors affecting municipal emergency telecommunications. The course is structured to provide the participant with an understanding of how to: conduct telecommunications needs analysis; develop a telecommunications plan; plan for telecommunications training; exercise the telecommunications plan; and finally manage a municipal emergency telecommunications system.
