Currently, at least 60,000 people have been affected by the current floods and landslides with 40 people having lost their lives, 42 other injured and 2 others are still missing.

Currently, a joint assessment of the situation by the Government, Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) and other stakeholders has revealed that at least 36 people have lost their lives and 42 others injured as a result of the prevailing situation. Three others are still missing and more than 2,000 households (HH) have been displaced.
