So far, 409 dead bodies were removed from the rubbles across the 13 impacted communities and the number may still rise.
The IFRC estimates that over 600 people are still missing and over 100 people have been injured.
Red Cross said that 312 were confirmed dead and warned the toll could rise further. The worst-hit area is thought to be the Regent district on the outskirts of Freetown, where dozens of houses were submerged when the hillside collapsed at about 06:00 GMT.
