As of 8 August, nearly 360,000 people have been displaced by seasonal monsoon flooding in Magway, Mandalay, Sagaing, Kachin, Ayeyarwady, Mon, Yangon and Bago.
As of 8 July 2016, more than 27,000 people had been displaced in Rakhine State.

The Laymyo and Kaladan rivers burst their banks after torrential rain in northern Rakhine and Chin States flooding has affected several wards and villages in Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Minbya and Kyauktaw townships over 5-6 July.
Severe flooding has hit Myanmar\\\'s Rakhine state-north, affecting 6,100 people from 64 wards and villages in some four townships since Tuesday, official media reported Friday.
About 130 people from three villages in Myanmar\'s western Rakhine state have been affected by flood, triggered by heavy rainfall over the past three days, said the Ministry of Information on Tuesday.
