At least four people -- three children and one adult -- were killed.




AFP 1999/05/22- Peruvian floods, heavy rains pound Amazonian region
The latest figures bring the total number of flood victims to 250,000 since the rains erupted two weeks ago, pounding three other cities in the Loreto province.
